Free Truth
Short poem inspired by John 8
You will know the truth,
and the truth will make you free.
John 8:32
Free Truth
Listen for the Spirit of truth. Continue to seek. to be free. Follow the words of Jesus to find freedom— and truly you will know the liberating way of love.

I wrote this poem reflecting on John 8:32, along with various places that “true” and “truth” appears in John’s gospel. The more I worked on it, the shorter it got. I hesitated sending it out until I realized my first poem on John’s prologue is about the same length and that it compliments the pieces on Ch. 12 and 18 in this series inspired by the Gospel according to John.
I also like sending out a poem about the free gifts of God on Black Friday.
Blessings for the start of Advent on Sunday!
